Detroit

Detroit has a deep bench of working artists and a public school system that has spent two decades cutting art. The branch libraries are still open, still free and in the neighborhood. That is where we teach.

5 branch libraries
20 students per class, maximum
4–18 ages welcome, grouped by age
Admissions

First come, first served.

Classes cap at 20 students so every child gets real time with the artist. There is no application, no fee and no audition.

Every class is held inside a Detroit Public Library branch. Term runs Sept 29 – June 12. Registration required.
