New York City

New York has more museums, galleries and working artists than anywhere in the country, and public school arts budgets that still get cut first. We teach in branch libraries across Brooklyn and Queens — free, after school, every week.

20 students per class, maximum
4–18 ages welcome, grouped by age
Admissions

First come, first served.

Classes cap at 20 students so every child gets real time with the artist. There is no application, no fee and no audition.

Every class is held inside a Brooklyn or Queens Public Library branch. Term runs Sept 29 – June 12. Registration required.
